By boat
Because Iceland is an island, it can be reached by boat. Next to plenty of cruise lines which have a stop in Iceland, there is a weekly connection from Denmark through the Faroe Islands with the ferry Norröna
Smyril Line.
By plane
Next to the two Icelandic airlines
Icelandair and
Icelandexpress several internation airlines have flights to Iceland. Most of them fly to Keflavik near Reykjavik. A few fly also to Akureyri in the north of the island.
